SciSkill is a non-profit learning, knowledge exchange, research and professional skill development platform dedicated to empowering students, young researchers and professionals with essential scientific and academic skills. Established on 20th July 2025, SciSkill emerged following the dissolution of the Life Sciences and Research Club (LSRC) which was founded in 2023, with its new mission with a renewed vision for a more structured, accessible, and impactful platform for knowledge sharing and academic development.
At its core, SciSkill focuses on fostering excellence in scientific communication, research methodology, publication ethics, academic documentation, and professional skill development. Our mission is to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical research competencies by offering structured training, hands-on workshops, and mentorship programs tailored to the needs of students and early-career researchers, particularly in the life sciences and allied disciplines.
SciSkill is founded and directed by Dr. Abu Sayed, a veterinarian and researcher, whose dedication to academic empowerment and scientific integrity has inspired the platform's mission and growth. Under his leadership, SciSkill has become a inspiring platform for training in scientific paper writing, research skills, software use in academia, and technical and professional skill development.
Since its inception, SciSkill has organized numerous certificate courses, webinars, and workshops, many of which have reached national and international participants. The platform also provides exclusive access to curated resources, templates, and guides to assist participants in their academic journey.
Through continuous knowledge sharing, collaboration, and commitment to quality education, SciSkill aims to cultivate a new generation of confident, competent, and ethical young minds ready to contribute meaningfully to global science.
